Our Process - In Store
BRING YOUR ITEMS
Collect up all the items that you don’t want anymore, pop them in a bag and bring them into one of our conveniently located stores, we are open 7 days weeks.
ASSESSMENT
Our friendly expert staff will assess your items and provide you with a price we can pay on the spot and in cash. We will then need to complete some simple tests to confirm the clarity, you wait while we do these tests or do some shopping and pick up your cash later in the day.
IDENTIFICATION
You will need to bring some identification, the requirements are different for each state you will need the following:
New South Wales - 100 points is required. For example, you can bring your current Driver’s License PLUS your Medicare card.
Western Australia - A current Driver’s License, Passport or Australian Photo ID Card PLUS evidence of your address that is currently in the last 90 days. For example, an electricity bill, water bill, telephone bill etc. (we only need to sight this bill so could be on your phone)
PAYMENT
Once we have completed the tests and verified your identification, we will ask you to sign a transaction form confirming you are happy to sell the items and will pay you the cash on the spot. Easy
Visit Your Home
Gold Buyers Central has expanded its services by offering home visits to our valued customers who may experience challenges reaching one of our stores (WA only – conditions apply).
We will collect your broken, damaged and unwanted gold, silver and platinum from your home and provide you
SAME DAY INSTANT PAYMENT.
OUR PROCESS
Our qualified and police cleared staff will visit your home and collect your items. We do not need to enter your home.
We will need to sight your identification. Identification requirements vary for each state. For more information, please see “Identification” above.
We will take your items to our secure premises, weigh and test your items and provide you with a price for your Gold by phone. Arrangements can be made to assess onsite if condition are suitable.
If you are happy to proceed, we will transfer payment same day by Pay ID or direct credit. There may be an option to provide cash if prearranged.

Gold Buyers Central was incorporated in 2013 and is WA owned and operated.
We are a precious metals recycler and buy any unwanted gold in any condition (broken jewellery, dental gold, nuggets coins etc).
We currently have 17 stores located in major shopping centres in WA and NSW. We are a licensed Second and Dealer in WA, SA and NSW and as such, are required to adhere to strict legal and regulatory requirements enforced by the governing body in each state.

Our stores are open every day at the locations below, some are by appointment only, but due to shopping restrictions changing daily we recommend calling first to make an appointment or confirm opening hours if you are making a special trip to visit us.
